Following the initial proposal in 1991 for a land swap west of Dayton, on Thursday afternoon, April 4th, the Board of Land Commissioners and Investment’s vote of 3-1 brought an end to the heart-wrenching possibility of losing thousands of acres of pristine public land due to greed.
